Anti Bullying Week - 14 to 18
November
You may
be aware of Anti-Bullying week an annual event which this
year is running from the 14th-18th of
November. This event is promoted within schools and other
organisation working with children and young people. This
year’s slogan is Stop and think – words can hurt’
and is focused on tackling verbal bullying
We
encourage you to use the opportunity to raise awareness
within your Club of bullying issues and to promote the FA's
Respect Programme including codes of
conduct for players, parents and coaches along with the FA's Anti Bullying policy produced for clubs utilise.
The FA’s best practice guidance on the use of Social
Networking, Websites and Email Communications, Guidance for U18s can also help keep children
safe from bullying online.
A great
way to get children and young people to engage is by running
a poster competition for club members with a small prize for
the best Anti-bullying poster at each age group. The winning
posters could be laminated and placed around your club
and/or hosted on your clubs website along with information
for children, parents/guardians on who to contact for advice
or support.

Anti bullying policy is downloadable from:
